  Interface Details for All Sensors
 

All Positek sensors with PIPS® technology are supplied complete with their own signal conditioning built into the sensor so they can operate from a DC supply and provide a DC output. The output from the sensor is calibrated in the factory over the travel which is specified in the order. This makes them easy to install and connect up, and you do not have to waste time setting them up and calibrating them.

A wide range of standard analogue interfaces is available. In practice, all sensors begin with the 5V interface and to produce the other interface options have another buffer interface board connected internally. The 5V version is always the lowest cost version!
