Zettlex IncOders are non-contact, absolute angle measuring devices. They use a unique inductive technique and may be considered as an inductive encoder. IncOders are ideally suited to those applications that require precision measurement in harsh environments where electrical contacts, optical or capacitive devices may prove unreliable. IncOders have 2 parts – a Stator and a Rotor. Each is shaped like a flat ring. The large through bore makes it easy to accommodate through shafts, slip rings, optic fibres, pipes, cables etc. (Click for more info)
Zettlex LINTRAN transducers are non-contacting, absolute, linear position measuring devices. They utilise a unique inductive technique and comprise two main components – a Target and a Stator. The Stator is longer than the Target, is powered with an electrical supply, and can be moving or stationary. An electrical output from the Stator shows the relative position of the Target. The Target has no electrical connections and can be moving or stationary. LINTRAN encoders are sealed to IP67 and are ideally suited to harsh environments. (Click for more info)

Much of our production is OEM devices which have been designed to suit specific customer applications. Low tooling and engineering costs for the sensor’s main components (printed circuits) makes custom designs a highly cost effective option for even modest volumes. Our customers are typically original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or system integrators to whom we sell sensors, sensor sub-assemblies, sensor components (notably pre-programmed chips) and application engineering projects.

Zettlex is BS EN 13980 accredited for the manufacture of ATEX (intrinsically safe) sensors. Encapsulation of the main printed components makes the sensors extremely robust and ideally suited to intrinsically safe applications in environments where explosive dusts and gases may be present (ATEX rated). Our fully-sealed rotary encoder is ideal for use on valves and actuators in the petrochemical industry.
